Bio

Ben was born in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Utica, Michigan, followed by Sheboygan, Wisconsin where he spent the majority of his childhood. He attended Sheboygan Lutheran High School and was involved with many activities, including being part of the basketball and golf teams. He graduated from Concordia University-Wisconsin in 2005 with a B.A. in Secondary Education and Business Education and a B.S. in Computer Science. He is beginning his seventh year at Racine Lutheran High School as a teacher and Technology Coordinator. In addition to teaching various business and computer classes, Ben coaches girls' basketball, golf, and volleyball. He enjoys sports, food, cookouts and spending time with friends and colleagues. Staying true to his St. Louis roots, Ben is a devoted follower of the St. Louis Cardinals. He is also a passionate fan of the Michigan Wolverines (he is saddened by the recent downfall of the storied program). Ben has a growing interest in cooking and can be found browsing the Food Network when searching for something to watch on TV. He makes a mean bowl of chili.
