The criteria for nominating a candidate follows below
Criteria for Athletes
- All candidates must be a Racine Lutheran High graduate.
- All candidates must have graduated at least 10 years prior to selection.
- All candidates shall have displayed fine character and a commitment to the mission of Racine Lutheran High.
- Selection is based on outstanding athletic achievement at Racine Lutheran High School and/or after high school.
- Special consideration is given for All-State, All-Conference, All-County, All-City, and Team MVP honors.
Criteria for Other Alumni
- All candidates must be a Racine Lutheran High graduate.
- All candidates must have graduated at least 10 years prior to selection.
- All candidates shall have displayed fine character and a commitment to the mission of Racine Lutheran High.
- Candidates must have had noteworthy achievements and/or contributions to his/her chosen field.
- Candidates may be nominated in the areas of Humanitarianism, Professionalism (Business, Education, Medicine, Military), Service to the Church, and The Arts.
Criteria for Teachers/Coaches
- All candidates must have been actively involved at Racine Lutheran for at least 5 years.
- Candidates must have an elapsed time of 5 years after active tenure at Racine Lutheran (may be waived by the Committee).
- All candidates shall have displayed fine character and a commitment to the mission of Racine Lutheran High.
- Must have had outstanding achievements and/or significant contributions to Racine Lutheran during their career.
Nominations are collected year-round with selection made annually. A candidate may be considered for induction multiple times and it is not necessary to re-nominate each year.
