Neko Graf Named January Student of the Month

Racine Lutheran has named Neko Graf January Student of the Month. Students are nominated by teachers in light of the 2011-12 school year theme, “Be Strong and Courageous.” Teachers say, “Neko is a hard-working student who demonstrates leadership in everything he does. He balances a difficult course load, athletics, and involvement in a variety of clubs and activities - including National Honor Society and Student Ambassadors.

Racine Lutheran’s Gala is February 18th

Racine Lutheran High’s Red-Hot Valentine’s Gala will be held Saturday, February 18, at Roma Lodge, 7130 Spring Street in Racine. This annual fundraiser is well-known for great food, top-notch entertainment, and an exciting auction. Everyone is invited to participate! Beginning at 5:00 P.M., Racine Lutheran’s own Jazz Band will provide entertainment during the Champagne Reception. Also at 5:00, the Silent Auction and games will begin. Register for Racine Lutheran’s January 21st Placement Test

Racine Lutheran High School invites prospective 2012-13 students to sit for its placement test on Saturday, January 21, at 9:00 A.M. The school is located at 251 Luedtke Avenue (off Spring Street) in Racine. Testing is a required step in the enrollment process.

Kelli Ryddner is RLHS Student of the Month

Racine Lutheran has named Kelli Ryddner November Student of the Month. She volunteers for the Pork Chop Dinner and Harvest Fair, plus other special events in Racine.

Racine Lutheran Sets Sights on Science

Racine Lutheran High has set sights on expanding its science program. The school recently added new equipment, due to the generosity of a school supporter. The science department received seven five-objective binocular microscopes - with five lenses for different levels of magnification and two eyepieces for easily viewing specimens. Students can magnify a sample from 40 to 1,000 times its natural size, for optimal study.

Racine Lutheran Pork Chop Dinner - November 11

Friday, November 11 is Racine Lutheran High School’s Pork Chop Dinner, from 4:00 – 7:30 P.M. The menu includes down-home, rib-tickling pork chops and all the finger-licking-good fixings. And wait till you taste Dottie’s Dessert Cakes! Register for door prizes: a $100 Kwik Trip gas/gift card and a cooler full of farm-fresh meat. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids’ chicken nugget dinners.

Racine Lutheran Tech Trek is November 2

Racine Lutheran High students ask community support for their Wednesday, November 2 “Tech Trek.” The walk will raise funds for wireless and upgraded technology at the school. To make a contribution, please contact any Racine Lutheran student or send your donation directly to the school at 251 Luedtke Avenue in Racine. Checks should be payable to Racine Lutheran High School and designated for the "Tech Trek.”
