Racine Lutheran Presents Student Ambassadors

Meet this year’s Ambassadors for Racine Lutheran High School. These are students in Sophomore-Senior years that represent the school to the community. If your teen wishes to Shadow a Student for a day, s/he will be with an Ambassador! These students also help at Open Houses, 7-8th grade school visits, dinners, church visits, and more.

Harvest Fair to Feature Kingdom of the Birds Book Signing

Author Hilda Demuth-Lutze, Class of 1978 graduate of Racine Lutheran High, will sign copies of her latest historical novel, Kingdom of the Birds, at the school’s Harvest Fair on Saturday, November 6. The book is set in Germany during the time of Martin Luther, when a village boy named Seppel is summoned to the Wartburg Castle to serve a mysterious knight.

On Being Athletes and Scholars

Can students be good athletes AND good scholars? Do they have to sacrifice one set of gifts to nurture the other? Parents, teachers, and coaches often talk about the need for students to be balanced and well-rounded. We don‟t want to turn out good athletes who are not prepared for higher education. Neither do we want to have academic achievers who never have a chance to build strong bodies or get any exercise.

Harvest Fair - November 6

The Racine Lutheran High Ladies’ Guild announces its popular Harvest Fair: Saturday, November 6, from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The school is located at 251 Luedtke Avenue (off Spring Street) in Racine. The Fair features dozens of booths for shopping, plus great food!

Superheroes Converge on Stage October 29

The Racine Lutheran High School Drama Department will present David Rogers’ farce, “May the Farce Be with You” on Friday, October 29, and Saturday the 30th at 7:00 P.M. Performances will be held in the school gym at 251 Luedtke Avenue.

Courtney Mains is the September Student of the Month

Racine Lutheran High has named Courtney Mains September Student of the Month. Students are nominated by faculty in light of the 2010-11 school year theme, “Live by Faith.”

Pork Chop Dinner - November 12th

Friday, November 12 is Racine Lutheran High School’s Pork Chop Dinner, from 4:00 – 7:30 P.M.

Open House - Oct. 24, 2010

Racine Lutheran High School will hold an Open House Sunday, October 24, from 12 Noon – 2:00 P.M. for new students. Middle schoolers and their families are invited to tour the school and meet the teachers and coaches.
