The L-Ps have had an impressive run the last couple weeks and it continued last week with three victories.

Leading off the week May 16 was the biggest game of the season for Lutheran-Prairie, the annual Silver Spikes game against St. Catherine’s. The L-Ps finally broke through after five years, retaking the Silver Spikes Trophy for the first time since 2010 with a 9-2 victory over the Angels.

Lutheran-Prairie won two more games last week, beating Kenosha St. Joseph 5-2 last Tuesday and 11-4 Thursday, victories that extended their winning streak to eight.

The L-Ps had their streak snapped Friday with a 4-0 loss to Union Grove.
