Madison Mohar selected RLHS Student of the Month for November

Racine Lutheran High School announces sophomore Madison Mohar was selected as the Student of the Month for November. Students are nominated by faculty considering the 2018-19 school year theme: “Be kind and compassionate to one another.”

The nominating teachers shared:

Madison is a true embodiment of our school year theme. She is an amazing student who consistently goes out of her way to help those around her, even without being asked. She helps her classmates when they struggle with their homework, does whatever is asked of her from her teachers, and constantly encourages her teammates during sports. Madison enjoys being challenged and strives to do her best in everything she does, always asking for feedback and suggestions on how she can improve. Her contributions incite analytical and in-depth classroom conversations. Madison is a servant leader, and she sets examples for her peers through her work ethic, integrity, attitude and kindness.

Jillian Rosborough selected RLHS Student of the Month for October

Racine Lutheran High School announces senior Jillian Rosborough has been selected as the Student of the Month for October. Students are nominated by faculty considering the 2018-19 school year theme: “Be kind and compassionate to one another.”

Jillian’s faith is evident in all she does. She uses her God-given gifts and abilities in the classroom and through athletics to impact the community around her. As a team captain, she exhibits servant leadership. She sets a positive example for her peers and encourages them to achieve their best through hard work, dedication, and teamwork. She supports her friends and family, and she puts their needs above her own. Jillian embodies the message in Matthew 7 to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Anna shows a caring nature and respect toward others through her Christian leadership and dedication in the classroom and athletics. Leading positively in athletics, she impacts those around her by setting an example and encouraging others to maximize their own gifts.
