RLHS hires Justin Hullum

Racine Lutheran High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Justin Hullum as the sixth head boys basketball coach in the school’s history. Coach Hullum has 18 years of high school coaching experience, including being an assistant coach at St. Catherine’s and Horlick high schools. For the past four years, he served as the head basketball coach at Milwaukee Riverside, leading the team to a winning record of 44-24.

Mr. Hullum holds a degree in urban education and is certified in alternative education. He joins the RLHS staff as a teacher and the director of the Resource Program.

“We feel very blessed to add a teacher and coach of Justin’s caliber to our school. We are confident he will positively impact our students in the classroom and on the basketball court,” said Dave Burgess, RLHS executive director-principal. “We are thrilled to welcome Justin, his wife, Stephanie, and their three children to the RLHS family!”

RLHS athletic director Jason Block added: “Coach Hullum brings a great amount of knowledge, experience, and passion for the game. We are excited about having him lead our program as we begin a new chapter in the rich history of Racine Lutheran boys basketball.”

RLHS Chapel – April 14, 2021

Hello! Here is the Chapel video for today.  It was technically recorded during Lent, so you’ll hear him mentioning the Lenten season;however, the message is from the Book of Isaiah, and is one that always applies. It’s a very nice meditation on why Jesus “opens nothis mouth” when being falsely accused, and led to sacrifice.
