Join Us for Youth Group on Wednesdays!
Looking for a place to have fun, deepen your faith, and hang out with friends? Come to our high school youth group at Prince of Peace (4340 Six Mile Road)! We meet every Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 PM for exciting games, meaningful scripture study, and great conversations.
Our current series dives into “Gory Deaths in the Bible”. We are exploring why these intense stories are in Scripture, what they teach us about life and faith, and how they ultimately point to Jesus. It’s a chance to tackle tough questions and grow stronger in your walk with God.
Whether you are curious, committed, or just looking for a fun and welcoming community, we’d love to see you there! Bring your questions, bring your friends, and get ready for an unforgettable time.

GRAND GALA – STUDENT DONATION
RLHS is thrilled to announce the 27th annual Grand Gala on Sat., Feb. 8, at Racine’s Roma Lodge. This year’s theme, “Denim & Diamonds,” promises an evening where RLHS and its supporters will truly sparkle and shine.
This event’s financial success relies on your generosity. Every year we ask each student to donate at least $10 by Mon., Dec. 16. The combined student donations allow us to purchase a big-ticket item to offer our guests during the voice auction portion of the evening. In the past, our students were able to donate items like a “Backyard Theater” package, Trek bikes, a Cedarburg overnight getaway, and a Blackstone grill!
You can make your donation easily and securely online by clicking the STUDENT DONATION link under the Support Us/Grand Gala page on our website (RacineLutheran.org).
The RLHS music department is thrilled to share some exciting news!
The music department is gearing up for our upcoming fundraisers, aimed at raising funds for the Spring tour to St. Louis! These events will not only help us continue our mission but also share our thriving music department with the community. We invite you to join us in making a difference. Help our students reach their goal by participating in the following fundraisers:
  • World’s Finest Chocolate – Satisfy your sweet tooth and help the music students. We are selling Chocolate Bars for $2 in a variety of flavors.
  • Music Socks – Great for Stocking stuffers. Available in White and purple, perfect for showing your RLHS pride. Just $20 per pair!
  • Poinsettias – Every year we decorate our Lessons and Carols Concert with Poinsettias from Millager’s in Racine. Order one today and take one of them home after the concert. Your purchase will brighten up our stage!
  • Bake Sale – After our Lessons and Carols performance, join us for the reception and purchase baked goods to celebrate our Lord and our talented musicians.
  • Do you have aspirations of one day leading a band? Here’s your chance! Sleigh Ride needs a conductor and we are auctioning off the position. The baton goes to the highest bidder. Is that you?
Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to achieving our goals. We encourage you to participate, donate, and spread the word to help us succeed!
Please contact Amber Hozey with any ordering inquiries! ahozey@racinelutheran.org

RLHS VOLUNTEER/FAMILY SERVICE HOURS
Every family is expected to volunteer at least 20 hours of service each school year (July 1-June 30) to directly benefit RLHS. PLEASE NOTE- RLHS student responsibilities, commitments, and expectations that are part of a sport or club (NHS, Student Council, Student Ambassadors, team events) do not count toward the 20 RLHS service hours.
Thrift Shop Service Hours
We ask that six of those hours are spent volunteering at our Thrift Shop. The Thrift Shop is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and is looking for help during morning shifts (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) and afternoon shifts (1 p.m.- 4 p.m.). Students, parents, grandparents, and friends of RLHS are needed to sort, clean, price and display merchandise and work in the store. One adult and one student, or two adults, are needed for each shift. SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED!
Schedule Service Hours with the Thrift Shop at 1222 Lathrop Ave.
To sort, clean, price and/or help with incoming donations – call Pat Hellenberg 262.498.8851. To help with checkout/cashier – call Barb Tertel 262.632.1070.
Schedule Service Hours with MORE Thrift Shop at 1228 Lathrop Ave.
Call Peggy Groth 262.498.2161 or Judy Lamers 262.321.4095.
Service Hours Bonuses
Once your family completes 20 hours, your student will receive a gift certificate for a free lunch at RLHS! Additionally, at the end of the school year, the three families with the most volunteer hours will be awarded a $50 credit to their RLHS school account, which can be applied toward various expenses such as lunch balance, athletic fee, yearbook, parking pass, and more!
