RLHS continues to be blessed with a vibrant and growing school community. In the past several years, we have turned away prospective students because we don’t have room for them. We are “bursting at the seams.” We are housed within a historic, but aging building that we have outgrown. With an aging school building and increasing enrollment, addressing our facility issues has become an urgent need. In order to support our continued excellence in all other areas, we desperately need an updated and innovative facility transformation that will maximize educational value and address the needs of our students today, and in the future. The good news is that the current facility is debt-free which makes it a favorable time to address current and future needs.
We are excited to announce that this transformational building project has begun and will not only bring the school up to date but prepare it to meet a generation of enrollment growth with excellence in facilities and academic preparation. This $8.2 million comprehensive project will make a significant difference to both our school and our community. We will be able to expand RLHS to accommodate growth in enrollment and prepare for future students, all while providing some of the best educational opportunities available.
