Racine Lutheran High musicians fill the air with beautiful sounds. If a teen enjoys making music, there is a place to perform here! The school has concert and jazz bands, plus a pep band, praise team, handbells, brass choir and other small ensembles. Student musicians’ performances at in-house and community concerts receive standing ovations, while music tours and competitions provide further opportunities to shine and share their musical gifts with the community.

Amber Hozey

My belief is that anyone can enjoy, learn, and perform music whatever their skill level is. Starting my musical journey at a young age, I realized the effect that music can have on people. I have made it a mission to follow my passion of creating a positive musical environment for young musicians. I have earned degrees from Culver-Stockton College and Northwestern University. I have also had performance opportunities with the Quincy Symphony Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently, I perform with the Chicago Wind Symphony and teach privately at Skokie Park District and Harper College. I have dedicated my time to creating a music program that allows students to continue and enhance their passion.
